The Ethical Stone Register
The Ethical Stone Register is a unique resource created specifically for the natural stone industry, in response to The Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the issues of sourcing materials responsibly. The ESR enables natural stone companies, whatever their size, to demonstrate their commitment to the issues of responsible and ethical sourcing of natural stone.
Created by Stone Federation, the trade association for the natural stone industry, the Ethical Stone Register requires companies to complete a robust and far-reaching questionnaire, which will then be assessed against the required criteria. Only those companies that have successfully met 100% of the requirements will become a member of the Ethical Stone Register.
